🎫 Badge Policy
All participants of Test Convention must wear their event badges visibly at all times during the convention. This includes General Attendees, Exhibitors, Staff, Press, and Dealers. Badges remain the property of Test Convention and may be revoked at any time at the discretion of convention management. Lost or misplaced badges must be replaced at the attendee’s own expense.
Open containers of alcohol are prohibited in all convention spaces unless explicitly served by the venue's licensed staff. Violations of this policy will result in removal from Test Convention and the venue. Any individual under the legal drinking age found in possession or consumption of alcohol will be escorted out and referred to local authorities.
Staff members at Test Convention will wear clearly marked badges identifying their role. They are entrusted with ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all attendees and are authorized to enforce all event rules. Attendees are expected to follow directions given by staff. Failure to comply may result in removal from the event.
Convention Center Security personnel are responsible for the safety and well-being of all attendees. They enforce event rules as well as all applicable local, state, and federal laws. Attendees must comply with Security at all times. Any issues or disputes should be reported to the nearest staff coordinator or the Director of Security. Roving Security teams will regularly patrol all public and restricted areas, report incidents, and monitor for safety concerns. Violations may lead to removal from Test Convention and possible legal action.
😴 Sleeping in Convention Areas
To maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all guests, sleeping is not permitted in the hallways or any designated convention spaces at Test Convention. All rest should take place in a hotel room or personal lodging. Attendees found sleeping in restricted areas will be asked to return to their rooms, and repeated violations may result in removal at the discretion of event Security and Convention Leadership.
Unattended bags are not allowed in any Test Convention spaces. All personal items must remain with their owners at all times. Any unattended bags will be reported and turned over to venue authorities, which may include police or fire personnel. Please keep your belongings in sight, and avoid letting strangers handle or transport your bags, backpacks, purses, or luggage.
The following actions may result in immediate removal from Test Convention, subject to discretion by event leadership:
Fighting or violent behavior
Destruction of property (public, private, or hotel-owned)
Harassment, including physical or sexual misconduct
Theft
Unauthorized sale of merchandise or bootlegging
Displaying explicit material in public areas
Posting flyers outside of designated zones
Unauthorized vending from hotel rooms or non-dealer areas
Use of alcohol or drugs in convention areas
Violation of local, state, or federal law
Refusal to wear an official event badge

All attendees at Test Convention must wear appropriate clothing and costumes at all times. Outfits must comply with venue regulations, including footwear and garments that sufficiently cover the chest for all genders. Nudity or partial nudity—including potential costume malfunctions—is strictly prohibited. If you're unsure whether your outfit meets these standards, please check with event staff. Test Convention and venue management reserve the right to deny entry based on attire.
Test Convention is a family-friendly event. Sexually explicit or suggestive content is not permitted in public areas, including on costumes, signage, merchandise displays, or materials for sale. As a guideline: if it’s not appropriate for the beach or a public park, it’s not appropriate for the convention. Violations will result in removal from the event and may be referred to authorities.
All props brought into Test Convention must adhere to local, state, and federal laws. Prop weapons or items resembling banned objects must be checked at a Props Safety Station and approved by trained staff. Safe, clearly non-threatening costume props will not require inspection and will not be flagged.
Misuse of props—such as swinging, throwing, or creating hazards—will result in immediate revocation of privileges. If a prop is deemed unsafe, it must be returned to your lodging. Repeat violations may lead to ejection from the convention or prop confiscation.
To ensure the safety of all attendees, Test Convention enforces a strict weapons policy across all convention areas. Please review the following rules carefully:
Any item bought in the Dealers Room that violates our weapons policy must remain sealed in its original packaging and be taken directly to your room or vehicle. Unpacking or displaying such items on site is grounds for immediate removal from the event.
